Whenever a hair or beauty product company comes out with a new line of products they often promote that product with a new Product Brochure.
The product brochures helped in multiple ways when it came to promoting the new items. They were printed and shipped out to salons, used as marketing tools by the sales representatives of Influance Hair Care, and gave customers an idea of what they would be looking forward to when they begin using the products.
I photographed all of the talent modeling the products, the products themselves, and I retouched all of the images, and formatted the layout for the brochure in Adobe Indesign.
As a brilliant Licensed Cosmetologist, this customer sought out new photos to market both herself and her salon.
At the studio, 2 (f)ft wood panels were used to build a corner wall.
A 7-foot soft-box served as the key light, with a bounce off the wall serving as the fill. Image retouching is also done in-house.
This photo was taken during the summer months.
The goal of this photo shoot was to establish some kind of interaction between the subject, which was me, and the inanimate items that were inserted into the images.
To guarantee that I had enough angles and perspectives to work with in post-production, I took many photos. Having more is better than having less.
My ideal jobs are commercial photo shoots for major brands, so in my spare time, I shoot concept commercials to keep my talents strong.
This was a fun shoot.
We built the set inside of our office using plywood. We created a corner room using the painted boards, decorated them, then changed the colors in CaptureOne to give the client a different perspective of the images. This wasnt done intentially for the client, this spawned out of curiosity in the post pro-duction stage of this project.
As you can see in the diagram above, we placed two (4)ft wooden panels side by side and created an L-Shaped corner wall. We used flat floor panels for the floor, the panels were previously painted from a prior shoot. I used a 5ft softbox on the right of the subject, and a 3ft softbox on the left. We shot using our Canon 5DMKII.
This theme was requested from the wife of an associate who wanted a birthday party themed photo-shoot based off the movie Boss Baby.
We lit the baby subject and shot him in our studio. We made sure we captured the main image we would want to use for the birthday invite, than we kicked back and had a little fun shooting the birthday boy. We even did an outfit change.
We have the ability here at CreativeCorps to bring whatever idea you wish to life with detailed consultation. Book a session with us and we will put that vision to a moodboard then later bring it to life the day of your shoot or commercial .
A few captures of a young football player out of Savannah,Ga. who is now playing at Mississippi State. We posted a few images we retouched in it’s original variatin. We then placed a different variation beside it with grey skin town and blue saturated tones on the outfit.
We also shot these images using 2 seperate light setups, One style displaying a standard look which can be used for multiple things (ex: posters, calendars, yearbooks, invite cards, etc.) The other style, which is closer shot and has more of a dramatic feel.
This was one of the very first photo shoots I ever did when I originally set up shop in my Savannah, Georgia, studio space. She is a friend’s daughter who has a special skill. When I discovered that she was involved in athletics, I offered my assistance to the family. I offered her with free photographs in exchange for which she provided me with portraits that I might use to market my sports photography business in the future.
There are many more images that were taken on this day, but we just included a handful of them here. As an added bonus, I’ve included several photo composites that demonstrate our ability to perform precise photo modifications for schools and groups who desire a more commercially oriented appearance.
